Dialysis Technology

The Certificate - Dialysis Technology program prepares students to work as a member of a dialysis team, assisting as a Dialysis Technologist or Technician. Students will study principles and practices involved in local and regional dialysis; dialysis equipment management, monitoring, and maintenance; drug administration; patient care, education, and data collection; medical law and ethics; and quality assurance and risk management. Students will also have the opportunity to obtain experience in a clinical setting working with allied health care professionals. Upon graduation, students will earn a Certificate in Dialysis Technology.
